Jean-Daniel Cathèll-Williams is a graduate student at Yale Divinity School. He also serves as youth minister in the United Church of Christ. He recently received his bachelor’s degree from Harvard.
He is a passionate advocate for children’s and youth rights. Holding the odd distinction of being a two-time high school drop-out and holding two Ivy League degrees (and working on a third now), he believes in radical reforms to public education. In addition to his obvious affinity for hyphens, Jean-Daniel loves kayaking, bicycling, hiking, Sour Patch Kids, and loud thunder. Other hobbies include shopping at out-of-the-way bookstores in obscure, but beautiful small towns, and cooking vegetarian food.
He grew up in Massachusetts and New Brunswick. He briefly lived in California, where he found, wooed, and married the woman of his dreams. He currently resides in Connecticut with his wife and two daughters.
